BATS DAY WEEKEND EXTRAVAGANZA!

SO SUPER EXCITED! 

We're leaving for the promise land that is Disneyland on Friday, a mere 4 days away! WOOHOO! Can you say I'll be bouncy and stoked all week? 


I'm posting up a picture of my Bats Day outfit because I'm just so damn happy.

May is fast approaching and that means Bats Day is just around the corner! With the magical invasion taking place on Sunday, May 20th, I figured this would be a good idea to get a thread started for the specifics of the event. I really do feel that altcollective is the PERFECT place for Bats Day odds and ends and all of it's wonderful revelers!

A question to the owners/madams: Would it be possible to get some swag printed to hand out at the events? There are a couple happenings outside of the park prior to Sunday that will be happening and it would be of GREAT benefit to AltCollective to get the word out! These people truly are the target audience Alt is looking for.

I will be heading down on Friday, May 18th and staying through Monday, May 21st. I plan on attending the Bats Day Black Market where we can leave ad postcards. I was thinking of attending the nightclub events as well, but it really depends on the money aspect. Thoughts? Ideas? 


Personally, I can't wait to bust out my fabulous new steampunk outfits as well as my day-time looks. Really, I just want another excuse to dress up (as if I really needed one).


Post up thoughts people! Figured it would be great for Bats Day to have it's own thread as opposed to getting lost in a con thread.

I'll be there for sure! My outfits will all be villains themed, and as soon as Viva is over I'll start working on them. I think we can get some fliers together no problem, good idea Katie.

Saaa-weeet! I think I'm pretty damn excited. :)

I am going to check out the Disneybound site today and get some ideas for day wear on the trip.... really can't wait to start making my costume dreams a reality! The office/sewing space is FINALLY cleared and cleaned up and after next weekend will be totally finished! Roxy, you should come over and play! We'll kick the guys out. LOL

OMG TONIGHT! Can't wait to pow wow about clothes and what not. And I need more sparkle in my life (much to Jimi's chagrin) so we should plan that out too. LOL

Well crap... ok... I don't do black and white horizontal "Cupcake terror" style stripes, which is most of your closet! LOL But you are right, and I've also worn green ones... But really, 2 striped shirts and a costume does not make it "me". You stick to stripes, I'll keep the polka dots. LOL

But yep, to do Freddy you have to do stripes.
