Permalink Reply by Cupcake Terror {Madam} on December 26, 2011 at 1:09pm I'm super excited about the new season! Looks like there is some fabulous and fierce talent on board. I always pick a fave before the start but I think I will be waiting until after the first ep to decide. :)
Wonder if we could set up a Bay Area viewing party...
Drag is great, but the ladyboys of Thailand will stun you.
Permalink Reply by Roxy Tart {Madam} on December 27, 2011 at 9:58pm I love me some Delta! She is amazing. Cherry, you don't need to have Logo, I've never had it, you can watch it on VH1 or online.
Permalink Reply by Cupcake Terror {Madam} on January 30, 2012 at 6:40pm I got to meet Delta Work... she was so sweet and super nice! The pic of us together is fabulous, on her side. LOL I was having some serious issues that day. Like my hair could suck it!
TONIGHT! TONIGHT!! TONIGHT!!!
I hope that I set up my DVR correctly, otherwise I'm gonna be giggling while at work tomorrow.
Roxy, I read somewhere that this season will not be shown on VH1... I'll see if I can find the quote. I hope that's not true tho!
Permalink Reply by Roxy Tart {Madam} on January 30, 2012 at 10:05pm It won't be shown on VH1, but it will be on Logo's website. I watched the sneak peak of the new episode 2 days ago, I was lucky to catch it.... I am loving some of the new Queens!
Permalink Reply by Roxy Tart {Madam} on January 31, 2012 at 1:30pm So let's talk about the first episode of the new season!!
SPOILER ALERT!!!
I felt like some girls really stood out, and some just faded into the background, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what they bring in the future. I'm just gonna go one by one and give my take on the girls.
Sharon Needles- I wasn't sure if I was gonna like her, but it turns out she's freaky, funny and sweet, and I seems like a really good person. I heart her!
Alisa Summers- I though she was really pretty and sweet, and I was sad to see her go. I would have liked her to stay longer.
Chad Michaels- I already liked Chad before the show, so I'm excited to see him do more then Cher.
Dita Ritz- My only memory of Dita is her name. She's a big fan of Dita Von Teese (aren't we all), and she loves fashion, old Hollywood and fancy things. I think we could be friends, LOL.
Jiggly Caliente- I don't have an opinion so far. It could go either way with her at this point.
Kenya Michaels- She's the little booty shaker...right?
Lashauwn Beyond- I'm not sure about her. She needs to stop sweatin, and start gettin! Her nerves might get the best of her, but I hope she snaps out of it.
Latrice Royale- "Chunky yet funky" She might be my favorite big girl yet (taking the spot from Delta last season). I love her attitude and look on life.
Madame LaQueer- Like Jiggly, I'm on the fence here...
Milan- Again.. no thoughts really.
Phi Phi O'Hara- She was really bitchy. I'm all for shade, but I don't like nasty people, and she seemed to have something bad to say about everyone but herself.
The Princess- I wanna see more for sure. I'm on the fence here too.
Willam- She started off nasty, but seemed to chill out a bit as the show went on. I'm not sure that insulting every queen out there (including Ru) who dances in clubs was a good way to start the show though.
On to the show!! The photo shoot was ok, but it didn't really stand out to me. I almost forgot about it. I liked the concept, but it was kinda...ehh. I LOVED the zombie part!! Seeing the girls from past seasons was awesome. I just wish we could have seen more of them! It was a good way to see the new girls personality's too. Sharon apologizing to her "sister", Milan saying that "black people run" and then falling on the ground, little Kenya going into fight mode after the gates were closed. It's was a lot of fun to watch. But the BEST part of the episode.... ELVIRA!!!! Can she be there every week?? Please!!!! I love her. The runways looks were ok, some much better then others, and I'm glad they gave Sharon the win. Her and Chad were my favorites.
Alright, I think that's all from me... what did y'all think??
Permalink Reply by Veronica on January 31, 2012 at 9:36pm Based off of first impressions and their personal style my initial favorites are Chad Michaels, The Princess, and unabashedly Sharon Needles. I'm a recent transplant from Pittsburgh and I've seen Sharon perform a bunch of times. I was ecstatic when I heard she would be on this season!!
I agree that the photo shoot was not memorable, and honestly I don't think Jiggly Caliente should have won the mini challenge. The rest of the show almost seemed to be tailored to Sharon. (Please don't be upset if my opinion is biased) But coming from Pgh zombies and the post apocalypse is no stranger to anyone in that town. lol I concur that Sharon's and Chad's looks were my favs at well!
Also..... F*** YES ELVIRA!!
Personally I don't think there will be another episode this season I'll be so invested in, they hit all my soft spots. lol
But I'm really eager to see what the other girls have to offer, and to see more of their personalities :)
Permalink Reply by Roxy Tart {Madam} on February 1, 2012 at 10:27am After watching Untucked I have a few more opinions.
1. I am 100% positive that I DO NOT LIKE Phi Phi or Jiggly. Lose the nasty diva attitudes ladies.
2. I am 100% positive that I like Dita and Chad even more. Good attitudes and personalities.
3. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Permalink Reply by Cupcake Terror {Madam} on February 1, 2012 at 11:01am Oh those Queens!
Roxy, we chatted a bit about them... but good lord! This season is going to be catty as all hell. I feel the same about Phi Phi and Jiggly. I don't like either of them. Jiggly was all excuses for her outfit and yes she looked a HOT MESS. Phi Phi is just a B*tch and needs to leave.
We should set up a Monday night viewing party across the nation! It could be a skype event! :)
